Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max 2023
Amazon's Fire TV Stick 4K Max 2023 is powered by a different processor, the MediaTek MT8696T, which has a slightly higher clock speed at 2.0 GHz. The GPU is the same, but has a higher clock speed too. The Fire Stick 4K Max 2023 has twice the amount of storage as the regular model, i.e. 16 GB, which should allow you to install more apps.
The biggest upgrade in the device is the addition of Wi-Fi 6E, which Amazon says offers three times more frequency bandwidth, lowers the latency, and delivers faster speeds with less interference from other devices that are connected to the network. Amazon is also bringing the Ambient Experience from the Fire TV Omni QLED Series to the Fire Stick 4K Max. It turns your TV into a smart display when it is idle, and shows useful information such as family calendar, local weather forecast, and reminders. It also displays over 2,000 free gallery-quality pieces of artwork from around the world.
The remote that comes with the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is an Enhanced Alexa Voice Remote that has a recents button, and dedicated channel buttons to surf live TV.
